If locks and frames can be breached, why should I invest in good locks?
Security of any kind is about providing a deterrent and making your property a ‘hard target’ as opposed to a ‘soft target’. Most burglars are looking for a quick way into a property with minimum fuss and noise, so they can steal a few expensive, easy to carry valuables and get out again. Good quality locks make this considerably harder, and when combined with other security measures make the property a ‘hard target’. Burglars tend to leave these alone, and go for easier, ‘softer targets’.
