Is there anything I can do should a key break in a lock?

The most sensible thing to do is to call a locksmith. They should be able to get you into your house very quickly and with minimal fuss. If you attempt to gain entry yourself, the chances are you going to damage the lock in some way, and this will cost you more in the long run. Some people have wacky ideas involving super glue, and generally speaking, this not only fails, but causes significant damage to the lock.
