Should I Trust my Staff?
Generally, your staff are your business and it is fair to say that most people are honest and decent. However, there is always the bad apple, and sometimes, the working environment can bring out the bad apple in good people.
It is a good idea to restrict access to a building on a need basis. Would shop floor staff need to access an administration office, or a research area? Probably not, so why let them? There has to be a balance however, as if people are marginalised then they are more likely to react negatively in some way, and this can lead to problems for your company both inside and outside the security arena of your company.
