Apple Equipment Targeted by Thieves in U.S

With smart security products making the news a lot recently, many of which are compatible with a smartphone such as an iPhone, it is somewhat ironic that gadgets of this type seem to have been targeted by thieves in the U.S

Incidents such as car windows being smashed to enable a thief to get at coveted smartphone, or stolen from thieves who have simply slipped their hand into a kitchen window are on the increase.

The following has been taken form police reports:

“Someone removed a Samsung Android cell phone worth $500 from a zippered bag while the victim was attending a lecture at Elmhurst College.”

“Someone removed an Apple iPhone worth $100 from a backpack in a locked locker at York High School.”

It would appear that no matter how sophisticated security technology becomes, there is no substitute to keeping a valuable item on you at all times.
