Dr Steffan George of the Master Locksmith Association Talks about Access Control

In an article published on Specificationonline.co.uk, Master Locksmith Association’s development director, Dr Steffan George talks about the importance of good access control systems to ensure good security in public buildings.

Throughout the article, Dr George points to locksmiths as being the best security advisors, as given the choice of products available for all types of security, locksmiths are best placed to advise on what would work best dependant upon the type of building and its application.

He said: “In addition, a locksmith will be able to offer you further advice on wider security issues such as fences, gates, CCTV, alarms, car parking security and garages ensuring all options have been considered.”

Dr George also cites health and safety legislation as a reason to use a locksmith for a security assessment.
