NCPI Aims to allay Orwell Fears about CCTV
NCPI solutions is set to demonstrate its state of the art MOBOTIX CCTV system at a festival celebrating the life and work of George Orwell, whose classic novel, 1984, showed CCTV as an instrument of control and oppression.
The purpose of the demonstration is to show CCTV as a positive element in daily life rather than an oppressive one.
The festival is to be held in the garden city and Wallington which is close to where the author lived, and runs in early September.
Stephen Burley, a CCTV expert said: "Next-generation CCTV technology is shaping our future for the better”.
Mr Burley will no doubt be hoping he can show how the future will be better at the festival.
