Cambridge Security Company Win Government Grant to Develop Lock Invention
A Cambridge based security company, Lock and Go Security Limited has won a government grant to develop a new locking product.
The funding was in part secured by Route to Funding, who helped the security company by raising the funds, giving business advice and support and providing motivation to launch the product.
The new lock is designed to give an existing lockable door an extra lock for security. It works completely differently to existing locks and does not rely or interact with the door’s existing lock. It is also extremely portable.
Inventor, Bernard Wilkinson, 75, was very impressed by Route to Funding and has already received enquires from leading lock manufacturers about his product.
