Locksmith Apprenticeship Scheme
Recently, a new government fund was created to focus on encouraging small businesses to boost apprenticeships for young individuals between the age of 16-24 years.

The grant which sees a small business receive £1500 in funding, half paid after eight weeks and the other half paid at the end of the 12 months, will apply to all apprenticeships taken on since the 1st of February 2012 and will be available until March 2013. In addition, companies may receive further funding for training.
So, if you're looking to become a locksmith, get down to your local locksmiths and make the business owner aware of this new funding availability. It might just get you a job!
With unemployment within the younger generation at all time highs, do you think the government are doing enough to get younger people off the streets and into work???
